Proud of these Junior High and High School Graduates!

I am impressed and inspired by my teenage clients this week. So many are facing jr. High and high school graduation. Entering high school is no small feat for those living with diabetes. Entering college is even more difficult. I respect them for their perseverance, forgive them when they slack off to be like everyone else, and salute them when they remember that they are the most important things!
These kids have already endured more speculation, bullying, and survival mode than 99% of their peers. If you know someone living with a chronic illness, simply acknowledge their work. It doesn’t matter if they are failing or succeeding- they are still in the game. The game continues and has endless possibilities!
I love my kids and am proud of each, no matter their place on the A1C scale!
